Solicitor General of Ontario,
announced in the Legislature that
the Ontario Provincial (OPP) will
be receiving additional funding of
approximately $20 million to hire
241 uniformed officers.
“I am pleased to demonstrate this
government's commitment to
increase public safety and
security,” said Mr. Pilkey. “I have
been working closely with the
Treasurer and with senior policing
officials for several months to
develop a strategy to address
Ontario's policing needs.”

This little girl and her mother had a ride on the merry-go-
round Saturday at the Dungannon Fair. There was lots to
