Kindergarten like yesterday to valedictorian
Karla Stacey Hullett class of '92
BY KARLA STACEY
Classmates, teachers, parents and
special guests. It seems like just
yesterday, we were entering the
doors of school, heading for
Kindergarten, searching for some
one we knew. When we had con
quered it we graduated to grade
one, reading and writing. Ever
since then we have watched past
grade eights in awe as they pre
pared to graduate, dreaming of the
day when we would graduate.
Now that this day is finally upon
us, the 91-92 grads are having
mixed emotions about leaving Hui-

being one who was added. There
are as many teachers that have
come and gone.
I didn't have Mrs. Walters but I
have heard that she was a great
teacher and made the new students

feel welcome.
Mrs. Livermore was strict, but
taught you what you needed to
know.
For my first year at Hullett, I had
Mrs. Hoemig. She handed out lines
and "personal points" left and right.
She and I didn't always get along,
but she taught me a lot. I'll never
forget Mr. Higgins, always quick
with a smile or compliment. There
was also Mrs. Bosman, lending an
ear to help solve major grade four
problems.
We then moved over to the
senior side, where we had Mr.
Riley. At first everyone was scared
of him, but found out his bark was
worse than his bite, most of the
