THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 1992. hullett CentralSoftool___________________ Kindergarten like yesterday to valedictorian Karla Stacey Hullett class of '92 BY KARLA STACEY Classmates, teachers, parents and special guests. It seems like just yesterday, we were entering the doors of school, heading for Kindergarten, searching for some­ one we knew. When we had con­ quered it we graduated to grade one, reading and writing. Ever since then we have watched past grade eights in awe as they pre­ pared to graduate, dreaming of the day when we would graduate. Now that this day is finally upon us, the 91-92 grads are having mixed emotions about leaving Hui- Hullett Public School saw another class of grade eights graduate June 22. Some are happy and excited about entering the hustle and bustle of high school. Others, though do not want to leave the security of a small public school. We will move on, however, and begin a new chapter in life. We will keep our old friends and make many new ones. We will take with us many hard-learned lessons and good and bad memories. We have seen many classmates added and subtracted from the orig­ inal Kindergarten class, myself being one who was added. There are as many teachers that have come and gone. I didn't have Mrs. Walters but I have heard that she was a great teacher and made the new students Shawn Parish. feel welcome. Mrs. Livermore was strict, but taught you what you needed to know. For my first year at Hullett, I had Mrs. Hoemig. She handed out lines and "personal points" left and right. She and I didn't always get along, but she taught me a lot. I'll never forget Mr. Higgins, always quick with a smile or compliment. There was also Mrs. Bosman, lending an ear to help solve major grade four problems. We then moved over to the senior side, where we had Mr. Riley.
