The Goderich team was a well disciplined team as they went ahead by one goal. After several very good chances, Blyth got on the scoreboard with Jeff Cowan making a perfect throw in to Amanda Anderson who went in on the right hand side and beat the goalie on the far left. At half time they were praised for their good aggressive play and were given a few helpful hints. From then on Blyth showed determination to take the game. Michael Ansley maneuvered in on the goal and shot it through the five hole. Again Blyth came up with another one as Michael Courtney found Amanda Anderson who put it in the bottom right hand comer for her second of the game. The Blyth squad had lots of good offensive and defensive play. Halfbacks also played well and Adam Blair played exceptionally well in goal. The final score was 3 - 1 for Blyth.
