AuburnTtie news from Compiled by Mildred Lawlor Phone 526-7589 A mother's moods topic at Auburn Missionary Church Elizabeth Bowman was the soloist at Auburn Missionary Church on Sunday, May 10. She sang “I Want You to Meet My Best Friend Jesus”. Pastor Carne's message entitled, “A Mother's Moods” was taken from I Samuel 1: 10-17 and Genesis 3: 16, where it states that Eve's desire shall be for her husband so womankind have a marital mood. Some husbands are insensitive to a wife's mood and sometimes slow to pick it up. There is the martyred mood. A mood that is defensive for the family and children. Christian mothers will stand between satan In I Samuel, Hannah is asking for pain and responsibility. Mothers have a very vital responsibility for their children but mothers can do it with the help of God. The Senior Youth Group will meet on Thursday, May 14 from 8 to 10 p.m. at Paul's place. U.C.W. meeting will beheld at the church on Monday, May 18 at 8 p.m. Auburn Lions sponsor bus for swimming lessons The Auburn Lions Club is THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 13,1992. PAGE 35.
