The meet ing started with the 4H pledge, then members tackled last week's roll call. They were put in groups of four and were dropped off at different spots outside of Ethel. Each group was to make their way to the park in Ethel as soon as possible, pick ing up the garbage along the way. After cleaning up the park, they headed back to Martin's for an “environmentally friendly” lunch. Later they divided up into two groups for the creation of their own commercials which were really fun. The next meeting was held at the Martin's on May 2. Because of the weather, the original plans were cancelled, so instead, members worked on their books. They also made environmentally friendly cleaners, and tested different brands of toilet paper by soaking it 20 times in water to see which breaks down faster.
