Area volunteers honoured Clinton Community
Credit Union
Three Morris township residents
were recently recognized for then-
volunteer service at a special
awards dinner in Kitchener.
Betty Graber of Brussels, Donald
Craig of Blyth and Phyllis Mitchell
received pins from the Ministry of
Citizenship and the Ministry of
Culture and Communications. Mrs.
Graber and Mr. Craig and his wife
Marilyn were given their pins for

Mrs. Graber said most of the
other recipients were from cities,

Mrs. Graber is well-known in the
Brussels area for her work with St.
John's ambulance and as a girl
guide leader for many years. She
was the recipient of the 1991 Citi

also assisted Morris township with
its plowing match. Completely
taken by surprise over the nomina
tion, Mrs. Graber said it was a nice
way to end her time as Citizen of
the Year.
Morris nominated Donald Craig
for his volunteer service on the
cemetery board. His wife Marilyn
said they were very pleased by the
recognition.
Mrs. Mitchell has been an active
community person in many areas.
She has taught crafts at nursing
homes in the area, works with the
