Belgrave Novices are champions The Belgrave Novice House­ league team recently toppled Hen­ sail in a best of five series to capture the south division champi­ onship. The third game was an easy one for goalie Kyle Anderson as the Belgrave team outplayed Hensail to a 5-0 win. Craig Marks scored the first goal off Travis Campbell and Curtis Knight in the first period, then Matthew Cameron scored off Craig Marks just nine seconds later. With 45 seconds remaining in the second period, Craig Marks scored again, assisted by Matthew Cameron and Travis Campbell. Craig came back again with three seconds of play left, setting up Matthew Cameron for the team's fourth goal. The final point of the game came after Justin Campbell shot the puck into the net, off a play by Aaron Himmelman. The team received a banner and individual crests for their achieve­ ment. NAME. Bantam Boys Grant Jarvis (left) and Tim Machan (right) were chosen as the most improved player and most dedicated player respectively for the Brussels Bantam team which placed first in regular season play this year. The players received their trophies at the Brussels Minor Hockey Banquet held Sunday night in the Brussels, Morris and Grey Arena.
