With Association representative Keith Williamson are, from left: Brian Dolmage, second, Grade 1/2; Darryl Houston, first, Grade 1/2, Ryan Brubacher, third, Grade 1/2 and Kelly McDonald, second, Grade 3/4. Ever watchful The Rev. Gordon Pickell of Goderich was guest minister on Sunday at the Walton-Bluevale Pastoral charge. Rev. Pickell led the worship service, taking as his sermon “Life in all its fullness”. Murray and Olene Dennis greeted the worshippers at Duffs. Glenda Carter was organist. Receiving the offering were Barry Hoegy, Ron McCallum and Murray Dennis. Jo Ann McDonald told the children a very interesting story before they went to the basement to their classes. In the announcements all board members were to be present for a special meeting at the church at 8 p.m. The U.C.W. meeting will be held in the church basement on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Junior Choir practice is called for Thursday, April 2 at the Church. Anyone interested in teaching Sunday School this September? There will be a meeting at the Church Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. Next Sunday the guest speaker will be Don Vair. Service begins at 10 a.m. Couple weds The wedding of Cindy McKelvie and John Whalen took place at Campbellford, Ontario, March 28. Cindy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Machan, formerly of Walton. A draw was made at the reception and the winner was Ron Stevenson of Walton. Congratula­ tions Ron! Seaforth Agricultural Society Presents Kyle Anderson, the goalie for the Belgrave Novice team, keeps a close eye on the game as he scrambles to get back on his feet. The Belgrave team downed Hensail in this game in Blyth on Thursday night, by a score of 5-0, giving them the WOAA South Division Houseleague championship. B elgraveThe news from Many attend Old Tyme Dance Compiled by Helen Stonehouse Phone 887-9487 Good turnout for shoot party Sixteen tables were in play at the shoot party which was held in the Belgrave Community Centre Friday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Robert Grasby; low lady, Mrs. Lloyd Appleby; most shoots, lady, Mrs. Helen Martin; high man, Mrs. Jean Deyell (playing as a man); low man, John King and most shoots, man, Mrs. Russell Farrier (playing as a man). A pot luck lunch will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 10 with shoot to follow. 13 tables in play at euchre Mr. and Mrs. Gary Leitch of Waterdown and Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston, Tara and Erin of Ilderton spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grasby and Mrs. Laura Johnston. A good number enjoyed the sociability, the music and the dancing in the Institute Hall, Saturday evening. The next opportunity for a similar occasion with Gord's Old Tyme Music is scheduled for Saturday evening, April 25. Mrs. Clifton Walsh and her daughter, Mary Ellen have recently returned home after spending a week holidaying in Bermuda.
