Their leaders have lots of crafts and games planned for the rest of the spring program leading up to Benmiller Camp the weekend of May 29-31, when the Beavers participate on Saturday. The boys, who will be moving up to Cubs, get a chance to try camp ing at the Pond-to-Jungle Camp June 12-14. Swim-up this year is being planned for the spring. Cubs enjoyed trying out their Kub Kars at their Blyth rally March 3. They had worked hard to put Blyth People together some very good racing models, and the competition was keen. Saturday, March 7 they par ticipated in a District rally. The boys have to finish making their moccasins and would like to complete the qualifications for the green star before Benmiller Camp. The Scouts enjoyed a very suc cessful winter hike and campout in February. They started March off with a movie night, and plan to visit Bill Young's sugar bush March 11. John Battye will be a guest speaker at the March 25 meeting to inform the boys about the role of the Legion in the com munity. Venturers ran a very successful and delicious Duck Dinner in February. They are working on plans to visit Yellowknife, North West Territories from Aug. 9-21. In order to cover the cost they are working on plans for fundraising events. The Venturers are also making arrangements to have the St. John's Ambulance run a Stan dard First Aid Course. The revised Venturer By-laws were presented to Group Committee for approval and were passed. Prior to Benmiller Camp, Group Committee discussed the purchase of new tents. More enquiries will be made before the next Group Committee April 1 at the Blyth Public School.
