Presi­ dent Harry Lear opened with “O Canada”. The minutes of the November and January meetings were read. Reta gave the financial report. The roll call was answered by 26 members. Huronview birth­ day party is March 18 at 2 p.m. A pot luck dinner will be held next ’Level Living’, topic of minister’s sermon Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, March 1 were Rick and Brenda Konarski. Ushers were Don and Kittie MacGregor and Ken and Laura Scott. This was hymn-sing Sunday. The sermon topic was “Level Living”. Junior Youth Group will meet in the Sunday School room on Thurs­ day, March 5 from7 to 9 p.m. for videos and games. In 1991 the church's contribution to Missions and Service Fund was meeting. Audrey Thompson thanked the seniors for her card. Competitors for Senior Games will have a chance for practice at the March and April Seniors meet­ ings. Six tables of euchre were played. Ladies' high was Marg Anderson; ladies' lone hands, Beth Knox; ladies' low, Estella Adams; men's high, Reg Lawson; men's lone hands, Hazel Reid (playing as a man); men's low, Josephine Mac­ Gregor (playing as a man). $5,770.00 an increase of 52 per cent. World Day of Prayer will be held on Friday, March 6. Dessert will be served at 1:30 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m. Choir members are reminded of their practice Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. The Life and Work Com­ mittee is having a skating party on Sunday, March 8 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Clinton arena. Boyd visits Huron Huron-Perth Centres for Children & Youth new Clinton office on 73 Wellington St., will be opened by the Honourable Marion Boyd on Thursday, March 5. There will be an Open House from 5 to 8 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 7:15 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. the Centres will receive accreditation from the Ontario Association of Children's Mental Health Centres. The new facility is one of three in Huron and Perth Counties. They serve families by providing counselling services and parent education. WI meets The regular W.I. euchre was held at the hall on Friday evening, February 28 at 8 p.m. There were six tables of euchre played. Ladies' high was Estella Adams; ladies' lone hands, Mar­ garet Taylor; ladies' low, Laura Lyon; men's high, Edythe Beacom (playing as a man); men's lone hands, Ted Fothergill; men's low, Reg Lawson. People Shuffleboard was held at Hullett Central School at 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Ladies' high was Betty Dale and Men's high, Lome Hunking. There was an attendance of 13. The sympathy of the community is extended to Gordon and Made­ line Radford and Jack and Helen Lee on the passing of their brother Ed Radford of Blyth. Mrs. Hattie Woods is now a patient at Wingham and District Hospital. Mrs. Mary Longman is now at Seaforth Manor. Manager Sandy Stuart said, “The need for services in Huron County has steadily increased since the agency opened. We have main­ tained the family approach to chil­ dren's mental health. The atmosphere in a counselling facility is very important and our new office prides as positive one for our clients.” Ms. Boyd will speak at 8 p.m. at the Clinton Town Hall.
