WILSON A former resident of Brussels, Scott Russell Wilson, RR 2, Staffa, died suddenly at Seaforth Commu­ nity Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992. He was 38. Mr. Wilson was the very special friend of Patty Sheldon. He will be lovingly remembered by his chil­ dren Garry and Kendra and his mother Kate Wilson of Brussels. He was the dear brother of Joan and Jack Memer of Bayfield, Helen and Jim Fisher of Benmiller and Gale and Harry Schmidt of Walker­ ton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wilson was predeceased by his father Eldon, two brothers, Frank and Garry and one niece, Pamela Wilson. Rev. Carolyn McAvoy officiated at the funeral services, which were held at Betts Funeral Home in Brussels at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Garry and Kendra Wilson car­ ried floral tributes in memory of their father. Pallbearers were: Kevin Schmidt, Brent Fisher, Marvin Merrier, Rick Somers, Lome Strickler and Kevin Henderson. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Founda­ tion or Melville Presbyterian Church, Brussels. MARGARET ELLA FIFE Margaret Ella Fife died peaceful­ ly at her Burlington home on Sun­ day, March 1, 1992. She was in her 76th year. The former Margaret Pearson will be mourned by her husband Kenneth of Burlington. She was the dear mother of Patricia of Toronto, David and Aileen Fife of Missis­ sauga and Susan and Ken Gray of Toronto. She is the dear sister of Ralph and Hugh Pearson, both of Brussels, Mrs. Jessie Joynt of Luc­ know and Mrs. Florence Gibson of London. Her many nieces, nephews and cousins will remember her with fondness. Visitation is at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral ser­ vices will be held there at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will be at Ethel Ceme­ tery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Rebekahs plan euchre party The regular meeting of Morn­ ingstar Rebekah Lodge took place on Feb. 25 with Noble Grand Leola Hood presiding. Attendance was good. Plans were made for a hot casse­ role supper and euchre party on Monday, March 16. The speak-off for the United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth is on March 6 in Clinton Public School. The top speaker wins a trip to New York and the United Nations Assembly in June. A donation was made to Mission Services of London for charitable purposes. The next meeting is March 10.
