Blyth Atoms swamp Hensall 10-2

of 10-2.
With just under three minutes left
in the first period Jeff Cowan
opened the scoring off an assist
from Mike Ansley, then came back
with one minute left off a pass from
Darryl Bromley to give the Blyth
team a two goal edge.
The Hensall team got the first

Blyth eventually tied the contest
with a lucky break as Michael
Bromley notched the hat-trick,
while playing two men short,
Bromley let go a harmless shot
from the blue line that hit a Zurich
defender and deflected past a sur
prised goalie.
Any advantage Blyth now had
quickly evaporated as Zurich coun

again take the lead.
Two more Zurich goals in the
third was the difference as they
humbled Blyth 8-4. Included in the
goals were three Zurich powerplay

Blyth marksmen while Jerrod But

and Ryan Chamney each had a sin

Mike Courtney came back in the
third to score the team's eighth goal
from Mike Haggitt and Amanda
