Aux. answers quiz Members of the Auxiliary to Wingham and District Hospital held their January meeting with President Mary Lou Cameron in charge. Pat Bingeman Pietrek, Director of Rehabilitation Services at the Wingham and District Hospital was guest speaker. Members were quizzed on their knowledge of the rehab centre, learning it had 1,763 clients in 1990 - 1991 with 13,400 attendances. Physiotherapy, speech-language pathology, social work, kinesiology and occupational therapy were the rehabilitation disciplines represent­ ed by the staff of eight Among oth­ ers, some of the programs offered are the arthritis education back pro­ gram, developmental stimulation, direct referral services, hearing aid maintenance and post partum exer­ cises. The newest addition to the inpatient program is discharge planning. Mrs. Bingeman Pie trek also said volunteer help would be most wel­ comed at the Rehabilitation Ser­ vices Department.
