we should all work together for the
common good. We as Christians
are united together. The service
closed with prayer, the hymn “Blest

Ella Carter received word of the
passing of her sister-in-law, Mrs.
Myrtle McGowan of Oakville in
the Oakville Trafalger Hospital on
Jan. 15 in her 93rd year. She was
the widow of the late Hilliard
McGowan who passed away in
January, 1964. Mrs. McGowan will
be remembered by many in this dis
trict having visited here on many
occasions.
