Legion teams compete

Mounds of fun
BY SANDRA JOSLING
On Saturday, January 1 1 the
Brussels Legion Branch 218 sent
two bowling teams to the Zone C-l

Lowe, Les Brewer, Ken Josling,
Eric Ross, Henry Gouthro, Sue
Mastnak, Debbie Trollope, Anita
Gouthro, Bonnie Brewer, Sandra
Josling and Jayne Ross. If winning
meant to have a great time then
both teams were first, however, that
didn't qualify them for the District
finals to be held in Owen Sound.
Better rolling next year.

Patrick Gilkes of Brussels, front, and his buddy Joshua discovered. Drifting and blowing snow
had piled mounds of the fluffy stuff in almost everyone's back yard.

On Sunday, January 19, Pastor
Tom Warner continued the series
of sermons on “Humbleness,
Heaven and Healing” al Brussels

He stressed that Prayer is a see

child often demands that an adult
not only listens to him but also
stops whatever he is doing to look
at him. Thus full attention is given
to the child. Likewise God gives us
full attention when we pray. He
looks and listens to us. There is
also a need for us to focus all our
attention and senses on Heaven.
