Stratford expands family discount for '92 season David William, Artistic Director of the Stratford Festival, announced today a major expansion of the Fes­ tival's innovative discount pro­ gramme, “The Family Experience”, throughout 1992. The Family Experience pro­ gramme, parents may take their children to specially designated performances for only $13.50 for each child. This represents a sub­ stantial discount for young people aged 18 years and under when they attend the theatre accompanied by their parents or guardians. When purchasing one regular- priced ticket in any price category, patrons 19 years of age or over will be entitled to buy up to two chil­ dren’s tickets at $13.50 each for their guests, 18 years or under, seated with them. Thus an entire family can attend a number of Stratford productions at a substan­ tial saving. I Stratford Festival announces under 30 discount programme David William, Artistic Director of the Stratford Festival, announced recently that the Festival has estab­ lished a new discount programme for the 1992 season - the “Under Thirty Theatre Club.” Anyone 29 years of age or under is invited to join the Stratford Festi­ val's Under Thirty Theatre Club and save 50 per cent off the regular ticket price for all Tuesday evening and Sunday evening performances throughout the entire season. The Club has been established to make the highest quality theatre available more financially accessible to peo­ ple with generally smaller dispos­ able incomes. For a $25 per person entrance fee, a member of the Under Thirty Theatre Club will receive a pack­ age of 10 performance discount coupons and a Club Card which must be presented on entering the theatre. The Club member may then exchange the coupons for half price tickets to any Tuesday evening or Sunday evening perfor­ mance during the 1992 season. In addition, Under Thirty Theatre Club members will receive a special package of discount coupons redeemable at Stratford and area retail stores and restau- rants.
