tip
Create a festive mood for your
holiday visitors the minute they
walk through the door. Using a fes
tive lablecover, make a clever dec
oration for your front door.
Cover the front door with the
tablecover using double-faced tape
to hold it in place. Select a wide
colourful ribbon to make an over
sized bow, and tape the bow and
ribbon at an angle to make the door
look like a gift package.
Make your own potpourri sachets
with a holiday napkin and some
ribbon. Choose a holiday scent
such as pine or holly and wrap the
potpourri in the napkin. Gather the
comers of the napkin and tic them
together with the ribbon. Place the
packets in your family's dresser
drawers and closets or in gift boxes
so there's a scent of the season
