Silent night, Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
’Round yon Virgin Mother and Child,
Holy infant so tender and mild;
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, Holy night!
Son of God, love’s pure light,
Radiant beams from Thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.
® Once in
<Royal (David's City
Once in Royal David’s City
Stood a lowly cattle shed.
Where a mother laid her Baby
In a manger for His bed.
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ, that little Child.
He came down to earth from heaven,
Who is God and Lord of all.
And His shelter was a stable
And His cradle was a stall.
With the poor, the meek, the mild,
Lived on earth our Savior Child.
And thro’ all His wond’rous childhood
He would honor and obey.
Love and watch the lowly maiden
In whose gentle arms He lay.
Christian children all must be
Mild, obedient, good as He.
@ 0 Come Ad
ye faithful
O come, all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye,
To Bethlehem;
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Angels,
O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.
Sing, choirs of angels,
Sing in exultation,
Sing all ye citizens,
Of Heaven above,
Glory to God,
In the highest,
O come let us adore Him,
O come let us Adore Him,
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

dor Christmas
I’ll be home for Christmas;
You can plan on me,
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree.
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love-light gleams.
I’ll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams.

Angels Sing
Hark, the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King,
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled.
Joyful, all ye nations rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With angelic hosts proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem.’’
Refrain:
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King.’’
Christ, by highest heaven adored,
Christ, the everlasting Lord;
Late in time behold Him come,
Offspring of a virgin’s womb,
Veil’d in flesh the Godhead see;
Hail the incarnate Deity,
Pleas’d as man with man to dwell,
Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace,
Hail the Son of righteousness
Light and life to all He brings,
Ris’n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die,
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
® Uhat Child Is Ahis
[sung to the tune of Greensleeves]
What Child is this, who, laid to rest,
On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing;
Haste, Haste to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.
Why lies He in such mean estate Where
ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian, fear; for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.
So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh,
Come, peasant, King to own Him;
The King of Kings salvation brings,
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

Christmas Story
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping at your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Ev’rybody knows a turkey
and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa’s on the way;
He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on
his sleigh.
And ev’ry mother’s child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two;
Although it’s been said many times,
many ways,
“Merry Christmas to you.’’
® (jod (Rest you
Merry (gentlemen
God rest you merry gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ your Saviour
Was born upon this day,
To save us all from Satan’s power
When we were gone astray.
Refrain:
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and
joy,
0 tidings of comfort and joy.
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
All other doth efface.
@ It Came Upon the
Midnight Clear
It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth
to touch their harps of gold;
“Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heaven’s all gracious King.”
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.
Yet with the woes of sin and strife
The world has suffered long;
Beneath the angel-strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And men at war with men, hear not
The words of peace they bring;
0 hush the noise ye men of strife,
And hear the angels sing.
