This action in front of the opposition's goal, during the Brussels Bulls game against Fergus on
Sunday, resembles a football match, as players tumble over the fallen goalie. There was a
good deal of action at the Fergus end as the home team came on strong defeating the visitors
by a score of 6 — 1.

The top of the Western Junior C
standings always seems to look the
same. The Brussels Bulls and
Hanover Barons neck and neck ...
battling for top spot. The Barons
moved into a tie with the Bulls Fri
day night with a 5-3 win.
Jeremy Franks had two goals to
lead the Barons while Corey
McKee had a pair for the Bulls.
Brussels took the early lead on a
powerplay goal by Corey McKee
but Hanover came roaring back. It
was 4-1 before the Bulls were able
to regroup and despite a strong
third period were not able to even
the score.
Bulls Coach Scott Pettigrew says,
“I was a bit disappointed that in an
important game we did not come
up with one of our best efforts. On
the other hand they got a couple of
bounces that hurt us. One goal was
off our defenceman's skate and
another shot bounced off a Hanover
player standing beside the net. The
key for us now is to play consistent
hockey and improve the mental
aspect of our game.”
Corey McKee had two goals in a
losing cause for the Bulls, Ted Sills
had the other Brussels marker.
Sills' goal was a shorthanded break
away that surprised everyone. The
Bulls' winger fired high and the

For the above reasons I respectfully request your support on
