Space is Limited, so call Thlc Newspaper Todayf ft f 1 A Crime Stoppers MISCHIEF On August 11, 1991 a vehicle was Eastbound on Elgin Ave., just past the Kentucky Fried Chicken store in Goderich when the driver heard a loud "clunk”. Upon check­ ing it was determined that there was a 3/16" mark on the passengers side rear door and it is believed that the damage was caused by a BB or pellet gun. STOLEN BICYCLE A bicycle was stolen from a resi­ dence on Gibbons street in Goderich, on August 5, 1991. The bike is described as a red and white Supercycle. The bicycle was a juvenile model with high handle bars with no ends on the handle grips, Serial number 1017143 and Goderich bicycle Lie. #2699. BREAK ENTER AND THEFT ZURICH Overnight of August 1, 1991 an unknown person(s) broke into Klopps Garage on Goshen Street in the village of Zurich. The perpetra­ tor would appear to have been small as entry was gained by removing a rear window and then squeezing through security bars that were spaced 8 - 9 inches apart. Stolen were the following items: 4 pkgs. of Player's Filter cigarettes 4 pkgs, of Player's Light cigarettes 3 pkgs, of DuMaurier Regular 8 pkgs, of DuMaurier Kings 4 pkgs, of DuMaurier King Lights In addition there were chocolate bars, Old Port cigarillos and some Virginia pipe tobacco. BREAK ENTER AND THEFT EXETER There were three break and enters in Exeter on July 23, 1991. #1 occurred when a thief smashed the front glass door of the Sunoco gas station on Main Street in Exeter and once inside stole $15 in loonies and $3 in quarters. #2 took place at the Hasty Mar­ ket when at approximately 5 a.m. in the morning the perpetrator again smashed out the front door win­ dow, entered and pried the cash register open and removed $100 in bills. #3 was at the Exeter Chrysler dealer on Main Street North and the thief pried open a side door, entered the building and rifled through the safe and then left. Nothing appears to have been stolen. It is believed the same person(s) committed all three break and enters and the only description is: A 6' tall male, 21-25 years old with a larger build. This person was driving a '77 to '79 T-bird which may have been red in colour.
