The Brussels Bulls of the West ern Junior C loop are getting ready for training camp which is just two weeks away. Any budding hockey stars in the making are invited to try out. Camp opens Saturday, August 24 in Listowel with regis tration at 5 p.m. followed by an ice work-out at 6:30. Another two hour practice follows Sunday at 6:30. Last year's Western Junior C finalists will be missing several key veterans including league scoring champ and M.V.P. Marty Rutledge, who played out his eligibility last year. The Bulls will also lose three veterans who will be at college. Greg McNevan of Harriston will be in school in Peterborough, Sam Kulafofski from Stratford and Scott Thede of Port Elgin will be heading to Sudbury. On the brighter side, there could be as many as 12 returnees from last year's team. Coach Scott Petti grew says, “We have some holes to fill but with a good nucleus of play ers back I think we can be in the running again.” Coach Pettigrew will have two new faces behind the bench this year. Hugh Nichol, who did some scouting for the Bulls last season, and was head coach two years ago becomes an assistant coach. He will be joined by Charlie Smith of Monkton, who has several years coaching experience. The first test of the 1991-92 sea son for the Bulls comes in late September.
