Brussels Livestock report 501 steers on offer at Brussels last week Sales at Brussels Livestock for the week ending June 21, were: slaughter cattle, 690; cows, 165; veal calves, 181; lambs and goats, 139. There were 501 steers on offer selling from $86.89 to $88.50 to the high of $95. One steer consigned by Scott Dalton, Walton weighed 1340 lbs. sold for $94.50. Forty-four steers consigned by W. B. Pletch Co. Ltd., Rockwood averaged 1140 lbs. and sold for $91.20 to the high of $92.50. Six steers consigned by Ken Dalton, Walton averaged 1258 lbs. and sold for $91.19 to the high of $93. Ten steers consigned by George Blake, Brussels averaged 1305 lbs. and sold for $90.11 to the high of $95. Twelve steers consigned by Glen Johnston, Bluevale averaged 1283 lbs. and sold for $89.06 to the high of $91. Seventeen steers con­ signed by Cunningham Farms, Lucan averaged 1300 lbs. and sold for $89.05 to the high of $94.25. Three steers consigned by Mark Matheson, Listowel averaged 1023 lbs. and sold for $88.85 to the high of $90.50. Nine steers consigned by Jim Hayden, Goderich averaged 1494 lbs. and sold for $88.45 to the high of $90.25. Six steers con­ signed by Brad Carson, Listowel averaged 1117 lbs. and sold for $87.57 to the high of $88. Thirteen steers consigned by Ralph Dickson, Mitchell averaged 1198 lbs. and sold for $87.36 to the high of $90.50. Fifteen steers consigned by Don Shiell, Wingham averaged 1228 lbs. and sold for $87.21 to the high of $91.75.
