Rutabaga Mash Young performers got a little encouragement from their elders as they took part in the Rutabaga Mash at the Gong Show Friday night. Strange sights Prize winner Theie were strange sights on the main street of Blyth during the parade as the Mocha Temple band added an oriental touch to the festivities honouring Huron County rutabagas. The Brussels Hotel won the prize for the most creative entry in the Rutabaga Baking Contest with this chess board and men made of rutabaga, admired by two young visitors.
