Belgrave scored five runs in the fifth and final inning to come from behind for the win. Brussels had led all the way until the final Bel­ grave at-bat. Brussels held the visi­ tors to a lone run by Adam Gamiss inthe first, then scored three runs themselves in the bottom ofthe first. Brussels blanked Belgrave in the second, then tacked on another three runs for a commanding 6-1 lead. Belgrave tied the score in their half of the third inning as Michael Sanders, Justin Campbell, Justin Howatt, Tom Pfeiffer ah' scored and David McBumey hit a home run. Brussels regained the lead in the bottom of the inning with two more runs. In the top of the fourth Michael McBumey and Adam Garniss scored to give Belgrave a short­ lived tie but Brussels scored two more in the bottom of the inning. In the fifth, however, Belgrave scored Robbie McGee, Michael Sanders, Justin Campbell, Ralf Freishnccht and Justin Howatt to take the lead for good. Brussels could get only one run back in the bottom of the inning. Jeremy Campbell and David McBurney shared the pitching for the Belgrave squad. Getting a leg up This student at East Wawanosh Public School looks like she will have little problem clearing the pole in the high jump competition at the track and field meet last Friday. Top athletes will go on to the North Huron meet at Howick on Thursday. Belgrave teams meet One Belgrave team beat the other in Tri-county Pre-mite action May 30. The team coached by Ken Marks defeated the team coached by Ken Hopper 27-16 taking an early lead and holding it all the way. The Hopper team scored four in the first by the Marks team came back with six in the bottom of the inning as Jason Fear, Justin Camp­ bell, Derek Marks, Craig Marks, Jim Wray and Devin Moffat scored. The Hopper team scored four more in the second but the Marks team replied with another six: Jason Fear, Justin Campbell, Daniel Mullen, Peggy Procter, Adam McBumey and Travis Campbell. The third inning saw another four for the Hopper team but 10 for the Marks team as Derek Marks, Craig Marks, Jim Wray, Devin Moffatt, Laura Meier, Daniel Mullen, Heather Black, Cole Vincent, Adam McBurney and Travis Campbell scored. The Hopper team added another four inthe fourth but the Marks team replied with five: Jason Fear, Justin Campbell, Derek Marks, Jim Wray and Devin Moffat. Earlier the Marks team had defeated Brussels 25-19 in a game May 21. Brussels led the game after a four-run top of the first but Bel­ grave replied with eight runs as Jason Fear, Justin Campbell, Craig Marks, Derek Marks, Cole Vincent, Jim Wray, Mathew Bromley and Daniel Mullen scored. Brussels came back with six in the second but Belgrave scored seven of their own. Scoring were Jason Fear, Justin Campbell, Craig Marks, Cole Cincent, Jim Wray, Chad Cook and Curtis Knight. Brussels scored five times in the top of the third but Belgrave scored eight. Jason Fear, Justin Campbell, Craig Marks, Devin Moffatt, Mathew Bromley, Daniel Mullen, Chad Cook and Curtis Knight scored.
