There was a good attendance. It was reported that the Variety Fair was again very successful. The winners of plants donated by Brus- ' seis Village Market and Brussels EMA were Mrs. Joan Jacobs and Mrs. Hope Lowe. Karen Hastings made a donation the bake table. A donation was made to the Chil­ dren's Aid of Huron Co. The members were reminded of the District Church Service which is to be held on Sunday, May 26 in Brussels United Church at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served in the arena after the services. Nomination of officers for the coming year took place at this meeting. 4H judges to compete at fair More than 100 4-H members from around Huron County will test their skills at the Huron County 4H Judging competition at the Seaforth Fairgrounds Saturday. The 4Hers will judge eight class­ es in the morning, then give their reasons in the afternoon. Organizing the event are Ken Siertsema, R.R.3, Blyth; Don Alton, R.R.7, Lucknow; Lisa Cur- rah, Bayfield; Pam Whitfield, R.R.l, Dublin and Nick Geleynse, OMAF, Clinton. TENDERS TOWNSHIP OF GREY GRAVEL TENDERS Sealed, clearly marked tenders are now being received by the undersigned until 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 31st, 1991 for the loading and hauling of 25,000 cubic yards pit run gravel and 5,000 cubic yards granular ‘A" gravel to road construction on concession road 5 - 6, lots 6 to 15. Work to be completed by July 31st, 1991 to the satisfaction of the Township Road Superintendent. Contractor must be capable of 1200 cubic yards per day. Tenders must be submitted on Township tender forms, available at the Municipal office, and must be accompanied by a certified cheque for 10% of the enclosed bld.
