Roy Robinson, RR 1, Belgrave is a patient in University Hospital, London. George Michie and Alvin Procter are patients in the St. Joseph Hospital, London. 9 tables in play at euchre Nine tables were in play at the weekly euchre which was held in the W.I. Hall, Belgrave, Wednes­ day, February 27. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Brenda Perrie; low lady, Mrs. Lloyd Appleby; novelty lady, Mrs. Helen Martin; lone hands, lady, Mrs. Ray Crawford; high man, Leslie Vincent; low man, Dennis Leddy; novelty man, Bill Nethery; lone hands, man, Lloyd Appleby. There will be euchre again Wednesday, March 6 starting at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome. There were thirteen tables in play. Prizes were given to: high lady, Karin Marks, score 730; high man, Kirk Krieger, score 695; most 20’s, Karin Marks with 9 and also Trevor Beck with 9; low man, Michael Marks; low lady, Marilyn McLean; lucky chair winner, Matthew Beck; door prizes, Matthew Beck, Car- leigh Galbraith and Justin Cam­ bell. Although the prizes were won by the younger group there were adults enjoying the evening as well. After crokinole refreshments were served followed by socializ­ ing. A special thanks to everyone who helped in anyway. The next crokinole party will be held Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the United Church Sunday School room.F524-2773 God^cs 1-800-265-5503 The annual canvass for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in the south half of East Wawanosh was once again a success. Total contributions were 984.50. This compares with $967 last year and $745 in 1989. The thanks of all those suffering from heart disease goes to the six canvassers, Sylvia Nonkes and Astrid VanEeden- Petersman on Concession 1, Betty Lewis and Noreen Wilson on Concessions 2 and 3, and Anna vanderHeyden and Elaine Snell on Concessions 4 and 5.
