Phone 523-4360 Happy Gang meets The February meeting of Happy Gang Seniors was held at the hall on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 12 noon. Twenty members sat down to a pot luck dinner. President Clara Riley opened the meeting with “O Canada" with Ruth Vincent at the piano. Clara gave a Vote", meeting were read and approved. The financial report was given by Reta Kelland. The March meeting Shuffleboard welcomed everyone. She reading on “The Liquor Minutes of the January results Shuffleboard was held at the school on Wednesday evening, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. Nine people were present. Men’s high was Lome Hunking; ladies’ high, Geraldine Dale. 1:30will be held on March 27 at p.m. with cards and lunch at 4 p.m. A letter from Huronview was read about the birthday party on March 20. Lome Hunking gave a reading on “What happens when you see a snake". A thank you card was read from Mary Longman. James Coultes of Wingham spoke about the Senior games which will be held in Mitchell on June 24 and 25. Roll call was answered by 22 members. There were four tables of euchre. ’ Ladies’ high was Alice Buchanan; ladies’ lone hands, Beth Knox; ladies’ low, Laura Lyon; men’s high, Ted Fothergill; men’s lone hands, Edythe Beacom, (playing as a man); men’s low, Renee Snell (playing as a man). Baptism service at United Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, March 3 were Harvey and Yvonne Hoggart. Ush­ ers were Erin Horbanuik, Angela Horbanuik, and Mandie Medd. Confirmation Class and Senior Youth Group will meet Thursday, Community extends sympathy The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Mary Clark of Senior Citizens Home in Brussels on the passing of her husband Howard at Callander Nursing Home in Brussels this past week.
