AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-Law by filing with the Clerk of the Village of Brussels, not later than the 19th day of March, 1991, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons in support of the objection. Phone 523-4360 Girls play piano for UCW members The February meeting of Londesboro United Church Women was held at the church on Monday evening, February 18 at 8 p.m. The Purpose was repeated in unison. Brenda Radford opened with a poem “Winter Valentine”. Jennifer and Kerri Szusz played a piano duet and each played a piano solo. Brenda showed slides enemies, sermon topic Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, February 24 were Mel and Barb Knox. Ushers were Murray Whyte, Grant Bergs- ma, Billy Jim Scott and Scott Shaddick. The sermon topic was “Enemies of Jesus (No. 1): The Scribes and Pharisees”. There will be no Bible Study this week. The next one is on March 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Marie Bergsma. Congregational Life and Work Committee will meet on Wednes­ day, February 27 at 8:30 p.m. at the manse. The Junior Youth Group will meet Thursday, Febru­ ary 28 from 7 - 9 p.m. for games at Hullett School. Confirmation Class will be Sun­ day, March 3 after the morning service. After study session at the church the class will go out for pizza. on places of worship in Canada and other countries. Audrey Thompson read from the Mission Study Book on how church windows were made through the ages. Brenda Radford and Marsha Szusz had the worship service. Marsha led in prayer. Hymn, “O Master Let Me Walk With Thee” was sung. Minutes of the January meeting were read. The treasurer’s report was given by Brenda Radford in place of Dorothy Tamblyn. Thank you’s from Cliff and Kay Saunder- cock, Cliff Shobbrook, Allan Shad­ dick and Beth Knox were read. Letters from the Resource Centre at Clinton Public Hospital, and the OMAF office at Centralia were read. Audrey Thompson moved that the group sponsor Sharon Bergsma to go to Presbytery Youth Weekend this coming weekend in Mitchell. Florence Cartwright moved and June Fothergill seconded, to serve lunch after the Confirmation Ser­ vice on May 12. Benediction was repeated and Grace was sung. Lunch was served by Gail Lear, Ruth Vincent and Laura Lyon. The March meeting on Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. is at the church. This is the World Day of Prayer Service. The euchre party held Feb. 9 for the Clinton Hospital Auxiliary realized $125.50 plus $105 in donations. The Blyth Euchre Club also presented the auxiliary with a $100 donation. The W.I. euchre was held at Londesboro Hall on Friday even­ ing, February 22. There were six tables of euchre. Clerk Treasurer SCHEDULE 2 CORPORATION OF THE VILLAGE OF BRUSSELS BY-LAW #7-1991 By-law #7 -1991 has the following purpose and effect: 1. By-law #7 -1991 changes the zoning on Elizabeth Street, Lots 40 and 43, Registered Plan 192, from “Institutional [11]’* to “Residential, High Density - special provision [R3-1]” to permit the establishment of a single-storey multiple attached building containing ten residential units. The subject lands are currently used as a public tennis court occupying approximately one-half acre. The proposed multiple attached building would be 795 square metres [8,650 square feet] in area. The dimensions of the proposed building are approximately 12 metres [40 feet] by 65 metres [214 feet]. The proposed development would contain ten residential units and fifteen parking spaces. The proposed by-law includes a number of special provisions for the establishment of a multiple-attached building. These Include deficiencies in lot area, parking location, privacy yard, rear yard setback and the total number of permitted residential units. This by-law amends zoning by-law 16-1987. 2.
