Verna Irene Doerr in her 77th year, beloved wife of the late Ernest Doerr (1951) and loved daughter of the late Robert and Clara Chamney. Loving mother of Joan and her husband Don Ives, Niagara Falls, Jerry and his wife Muriel of Regina, Sheila and her husband Joe Belli, Toron­ to, Ron and his wife Loise, Brian and Judy, all of Niagara Falls, and Harold and Rosemarie, St. Cathar­ ines. Sister of Herman Chamney, Windsor; Stuart Chamney, Gordon (Bud) Chamney, both of Auburn and the late Evelyn and Graham Chamney. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Morse and Son Chapel, Main St., Niagara Falls on. -Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2:30 o’clock. Pallbearers were grandsons David and Danny Kincardine Ives, Bobby and Bradley Doerr, and Michael and Adrian Belli. Spring interment at Blyth Union Cemetery, Blyth. A memorial ser­ vice under the auspices of the Niagara Chapter #23 of the Order of the Eastern Star was held at the funeral home Friday night. Several members of the Chamney family attended the funeral.
