Desserts to add the finis.
RASPBERRY ANGEL
2 pkg. rasp. jello and hot water
1 pkg. frozen rasp. -juice and. water
1/2 pt. whipping cream - whipped
1 angel food cake sliced in 2•as for a layer cake
Make jello according to package using rasp.
juice for cold water. Let set till soft, then mix in
rasp. and whipped cream.
In large bowl put some jello, then cake, then
jello, then cake, then jello.
Refrig. till set.
Turn out and garnish with more whipped
cream

WATERMELON BOAT
1 watermelon
1/2 lb. green seedless grapes
1/2 lb. purple grapes
2apples peeled, cored and chopped
2 pears, peeled, cored and chopped
1 melon' or cantaloupe
2 peaches chopped
Strawberries, raspberries and -or cherries to add
colour
1/2 c. sugar:
Cut lid out of watermelon leaving a plain rim' if
you wish or make a scalloped edge for eye ap-
peal.
Remove inside of watermelon with large spoon
or melon ball cutter. Remove seeds.
Sprinkle • the fresh fruit with 1,4 c. lemon juice to
help retain colour.
Cover with p-iastic wrap and refrigerate.

STRAWBERRY PARTY DESSERT
1 pkg. vanilla wafers
2 tbsp. melted butter
Blend together and save some crumbs for the
top. Put remaining in a very large pyrex dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for. 10 minutes.. Cool..
Mix the following as for icing:,
1/2 cup butter or margarine
]/a
1. cup icing sugar
g
1 egg beaten `
1. tsp. vanilla
Spread over crumbs. Leave overnight in.
refrigerator.
Next day cover with the following:
1 large red jello powder
I cup boiling water
2 pkgs. thawed frozen strawberries and enough
cold water to make 2 cups.
When cool and syrupy, add 1/2 pint whipped
ream.
Pour all over above. Sprinkle extra crumbs on
tep Chill until ready -to serve.

CHOCOLATE PARTY DESSERT
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
Keep 1/2 cup of above for top
Filling
3 Neilsons chocolate bars
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
Mix together in double boiler, stir and beat
until blended. Cool and add 1/2 pint 'whipped
cream. Place crumbs on bottom of pyrex dish.
Add filling then add remaining crumbs on top.
Refrigerate.

CHOCOLATE SYRUP FOR.
MILK OR ICE CREAM
1 c. cocoa
2 c. bailing water
2c.sukar
Boil 10 minutes and add 1 T13sp. vanilla. Use 1
tbsp. per glass of cold or hot milk. Delicious over
ice cream too.

LEMON DELIGHT
2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 large lemon gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 large can evaporated milk (thoroughly chilled)
1 can cherry pie filling
Combine first three ingredients and line a 10"
x 15" pan, reserving 1/4 of the mixture for top-
ping.SDissolve gelatin in boiling water -and leave
to cool until almost set. Place chilled evaporated
milk in large bowl and whip until firm. Then
combine with partially set gelatin.. Pour into
prepared pan and spread cherry pie filling and
sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate
