of Christmas recitations,
songs and stories. Taking
part in the concert were

Kelly McGillivray with
Christmas• -y poems.

Joyce, Judy and Janet
Lane, Jennifer, Angela

sang songs. Helen Anne
Needham performed a
tap dance.
The Van-Rooyan family
presented a musical
-rendition of Silent Night.
Jennifer. Collins en-
tertained the younger
children with a Christ-
mas- story and Bonnie,
Kerry and Heather Doyle
put hours of preparation
into a shawdon puppet
story,
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Van
Rooyan led in a carol sing
that culminated with the
arrival of the jolly old elf,
Santa Claus himself.
After the distribution of
gifts and candy Santa
• was sung nut to the tune
of Jingle Bells and lunch
was served.

The general Meeting of
Lucknow "U.C.W. Was held
December 11 'commencing
with dessert and coffee. The
president, Mrs. L. Ritchie,
opened the meeting with a
Christmas poem. Mrs. Harv-
ey Housten ptesided at the
piano to accompany hymn
singing. • .
Mts. 'Ritchie. welcomed all
and led in prayer: Jeff Ackert
• favoured with an instrument-
al on the piano.
The meeting was turned
over to the program cOmmit-
tee convened by Mrs. Ernest
•Ackert. The theme of the
program was the Christmas
wreath with each poinsetta '
• symbolizing Love; Life,
Light, Hope; Joy, Guidance
„and Salvation. These parts

ing. The meeting closed with
