patient in Kincardine and
District Hospital for a
week wastransferred by
ambulance to St.:
Joseph's Hospitalt in
London:
On Friday Mrs.
Pollock, 92 years of age,
underwent major surgery
in .St. Joe's for the am-
putation of her right leg
successfully. Early on
Thursday before leaving
Kincardine, Dr. Susan
Boron arranged for Mrs.
Pollock to• hold ° in her
arms her new baby great
granddaughter, the
daughter of Brian and
' Wendy Pollock of Ripley
just „born a short time
' before leaving and fami'l.Y
members feel, that this
was a lift to Mrs.
Pollock's feelings.
At St. Joe's last Friday
awaiting the outcome of
the. operation was _ her
