• Last Friday the Lancers
travelled by bus to Elora to
play the Rocks, .a new entry
M Intermediate 'C' hockey
this year,
The first period was slow
and dull as both teams tried
to find their skating legs and
there was no scoring in the
first period of play.
In the second period,
things opened up with Elora
scoring first and Lucknow
coming back and scoring two
goals to take the lead. Scor-
ing for Lucknow in the
second were Andy Sheddon
from Clark aiid, Stevenson:
Lucknow's second goal came
from Grant Clark with assists
to Sheddon and Stevenson.
Lucknow opened the scor-
ing in the third with a lucky
goal 'off the skate of Randy.
Alton with the assist going to
Bob Surridge. John MacKen-
zie scored Lucknow's last
•goal with assists to Mont-
gomery and Burrows.
• The Lancers were content
•to sit on their three goal lead
and Elora scored one more
time to make the final score

Wirigharn this. Friday to play
the Royals and take on the
Goderich Sailors at home on
Sunday December 16 at 7.10
