Ripley tykes defeat Kincardine in exhibition game
The Ripley Tykes
hosted Kincardine Tykes
in an exhibition game,
and defeated them 7-1. It
was.- a real team effort,
with Darryl MacKay
scoring two, Scott van
den Hogen one plus two
assists, Todd Farretl ane
plus two assists, 'John
Kelly one plus two
assists, David van Kooten
one goal and one assist,
Jason Arris one goal,
Robbie Wood two assists,
and Tommy Fry, Steve
Twolaii and Billy Johnson
each got one assist.
Robbie Thompson and
David Schuler make up
the rest of the team, with
Eric McLeod as coach.

On December. 1 the Luck -
now Bantams had% the pleas-.
ure of playing the London
Red Circle All -Stars in an
exhibition game. Although
Lucknow showed a good dis-
play, of hockey, they lost $ - 2
Credits for. the two Lucknow
goals go out to David:Ember,
•lin assisted' by. Pauli Pickard
• and Paul Pickard asdisted by
Jamie Bere.
On DeceMber 3, -Lucknow
travelled to Mildmay
the game up 5 - 5. The five
Lucknow goals went to David
Hamilton, assisted by Paul
Jerome; -George Alton, un-
assisted; Paul Pickard; un-
assisted and Jamie Bere,
aisisted by Ken Irwin. The
last goal Of the night went to
David Emberlin, assisted by
-Paul Jerome and Mike Aus-
tin.
On December 5, Lucknow
hosted the Teeswater Ban-
tams and ' cameup with
another tie of.2 - 2. Tees -
water was leading 2 - 0 at the
beginning of the third. period
until the first Lucknow goal
. was scored by Paul Macln-
tyre, assisted by George Al-
ton. With two minutes left in
the third-penod, the coach of
the. Luoknow, Bantams, Jam-
es Montgomery, pulled the
goalie - With hopes of one
more goal for Lucknow. The
boys did not disappoint him
and tied the game with the
last goal scored by George
Alton; 'assisted by Jamie
Bere and David Emberlin
with 30 seconds left in the
game. Congratulations boys!
The next game will be
played iri Lucknow against
Mildmay at 8.00 p.in.. Coble
out and the see the Lucknow
boys win!
