Are Canadians getting the education they deserve? In my opinion, they are being pushed out. Foreign students have been pouring into this coun- try to receive a cheap educa- tion at the expense of whom: the taxpayer. Their enroll- ment in schools has cut down on the number of Canadians elegible to further their edu- cation. One hundred thous - Creative Corner CREATIVE CORNER What has life given to me? A girl from St. Catharines wanted to be a pharmacist but because of the number of foreign students she was not accepted. She is no racist, but Canadians should have priority over foreigners in Canada. Her dreams are shattered. Others are going to Europe to study. The foreign students never really socialize with the rest. They never really give up ties with their native homeland. Most of them are able to obtain landed visas with which they can stay in Canadafor five years; but they can easily immigrate with little problem. Should this be allowed? They are able to obtain jobs before Canadians which increases unemployment. Are 'we the students, getting what edu- cation we deserve?
