.Indoor gardening interests
• The first meeting for
those enrolled in the short
course on "Indoor
Gardening" was held on
Monday at the home of
Mrs. Donald Reid. This
course is offered by the
ministry of agriculture
and food and is sponsored
in this community by the
•
Purple Grove Women's
Institute under the
leadership of Mrs. Wm.
Arnold and Mrs. Wayne
Nixon. Ten ladies
enrolled on Monday. The
next meetingwill be held
at the home of Mrs. Reid
on Wed., Nov. 28.
Mrs.. Florence Pollard
of Kincardine visited on
Wednesday with Mr. and
Mrs. Donald McCosh.
Mr. and Mrs. Leland
Stanley of Millarton were
Saturday guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Norval Stanley.

Walter Forster were in
Dutton on Saturday at-
tending the wedding of
John MacAuley of Ripley
and Grace Norman.

their Achievement Night
in Ripley Township Hall

Tykes hockey team
played their first game,
defeating - the Lucknow
team.. Robbie Thompson
is a member of the Tykes.
