Town and Country hast Bigley club The Town . and Country Club entertained the Ripley Senior Citizens' Club . on Wednesday,' November 3. President Margaret Mac- Donald welcomed everyone. The. Lucknow club's newly formed Rhythm Band opened the evening with a few numbers. The members are Grace Gibson, Ida Barger, Ellen Cardis, Mamie Hend- erson, Vera' Purvis, Susan. McNaughton, Sadie Hamil- ton, Tina Gardner and Anna Johnstonewith the help of Les Purvis. Ethel Rutherford. was pianist. Mr. Clark gave a violin selection accompanied by his son. The Ripley Club gave a couple of selections, includ- ing, Seven Old Ladies, which was enjoyed by all. Helen Thompson gave a' reading, Picture Hanging, and Mr. Scott gave a violin selection. Harry Lavis played the. mouth organ and Mrs. Rutherford gave a piano selection. A ' game of euchre was played.::and lunch was served: Ray Dalton entertained with songs during lunch. Card winners were high lady, Margaret Gemmell and high man, Annie Scott, who play- ed as a man -Closest birthday was Raymond Leddy.
