and Kevin visited with Mr.
and Mrs. Bradley Speiran of
Brussels.
The Canadian Hereford
Assocation sponsored a 4-H
showmanship. Carol Rintoul,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Leroy Rintoul, entered and
won the junior showmanship
and received a trophy from
the Bank of Montreal. She
went on to compete against
the top two senior wines
and won an all expense hip
of one week to the Agribition
in Regina, Saskatchewan.
She leaves next Sunday for
Regina. She will also do '
some competing at Regina.
• Her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Leioy Rintoul, will also be
there. This community ,ex-
tends congratulations to Car-
ol on her accomplishments
and wishes her good luck in
Regina.
When Mrs. John Bell
returned home from the
Whitechurch W.I. meeting
she received 'a phone call to
-go to Bluevale to Mrs, Keith
Humphrey's, as she was ill
and had to go to Wingham
Hospital. Mrs. Bell remained
• with the family for a few
days.

Cindy Moore was. able to
' return home from Wingham
Hospital on Monday and was
°• able to go to high school this
week and write exams.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Ver,
beek of Clinton were Thurs-
day evening callers on Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
Mrs. Rob Frank and James
Gregory David arrived home
