The Lucknow Sentinel, 1979-11-21, Page 8t. li at Page 8-'-Lucimow Sentinel, Wednesday, November 21, 1979 Arena's winter season in full swin, Arrangements for the min- or hockey program are com- plete with teams from Atom to Juvenile now engaged in their schedules. Added to the lineup this year are 'B teams- in Pee Wee and Midget. As registration has been down the last two years in house 'league, only four teams will take to the ice on Saturday mornings. Minor hockey is proud to announce the addition of three new referees, namely David Emberlin, Lance Sand- erson and David Pritchard to the refereeing staff of Dave Black, Pete Chisholm, Steve Pritchard and Blair Alton. Lucknow's staff of referees is envied by most communities as they find it very difficult to acquire referees. Broomball has been or- ganized for another year and begins November 20th on Tuesday nights. Industrial hockey begins this week on Thursday nights and the Old Timers hockey team have their linament out and ready to go. Figure skating is also in full swing. If you detest the winter, why not take part in some of the functions at the t arena, this could be a rewarding experience. , ...•••••..••••.._....,.......,....,•.
