The Lancers travelled to
Mildmay last Friday night to
take on the Monarchs. The
first period was fast and
furious with both teams
scoring one goal each. Luck-
now's goal came from Dennis
Burrows with assists. -going to
Shedden and. Murray. The
second period was just as
fast as the first, with Mild-
may scoring four goals to
Lucknow's none,
Lucknow had a chance to
practice their penalty killing
in the second and third
periods and came out of it
very well, allowing; Mildmay
to score only twice while they
had a man advantage. There
was no scoring in the third
period so the final score was
Mildmay 5, Lucknow 1.
Mildmay comes to Lucknow
this Friday night to play the.

On Sunday the . Lancers
costed the Wingham Royals
Ind proved to be less than
gracious . hosts as they
thumped the. Royals 11 to 5.

Friday, November 2, the
Lancers travelled to Mount
Forestto play the previously
undefeated Rams.
The first period .was rough
and tough. with Mount Forest
scoring first. Then a short
handed effort from the stick
of Doug Stevenson, with as-
sists going to Stanley and
Courtney, tied the game at
one each. Lucknow scored
again. with less than a minute
left in the first period, on a
goal by Grant Clark with the
assist going to Mark Chis-
holm.
The second period was all
Lucknow as they seared four
times to Mount Forest's.
once. Goals for the Lancers
came from Stanley with two,
and Mike Courtney and
Grant Clark with one each.
Score at the end of two
periods of play was Lucknow
6, Mount Forest 2.
In the third period, Mount
Forest fried to come back as
they scored two goals to the
Lancer's one. Lucknow's last
goal came front Doug Steven-
son assisted by Courtney and
Stanley.
All the Lancers played a
strong, game, especially the
goalie, Ron Martin, who was
selected the first star of the
game, with the second star
going to Carl Stanley.
