Club. On Sunday Joe Tiffin
and Mr. and Mrs.. Bill. Snow-
den of Goderich, attended
the general meeting of Strat-
ford Musicians local 418. At
this meeting,, Joe was re-
turned to the office of
Sergeant-atarms for • the
next two years. After the
meeting all attended the
Annual Ladies Night where
smorgasbord and entertain-
ment were held at Victorian
Inn, Stratford.
The village extends a
warm welcome to Mr. and
Mrs. Murray Irwin who have
moved into the white brick :
residence west of, Angus
Falconer's home.
This community was sorry'
to learn that last week Garry
Chapman had to be taken to
University Hospital where he
has been undergoing tests.
The community wishes him a
speedy . return to health.
Mrs. George Tiffin of
Lucknow. spent 'a few days
with her sister, Mrs. Cassie
Mowbray.
Mrs. Agnes Farrier held a
25th wedding anniversary
celebration for Laura and
Clayton Scholtz of Goderich.'
During the evening enter-
tainment was music and
euchre, Elroy Laidlaw spoke
words of appreciation of
Laura and Clayton and Ag-
nes Simmons and Cathy Gil-
• lespie presented them. with
silver gifts. for-, which Laura

Whitechurch 4-11') held
their sixth • meeting at the
•home of their leader, Mrs.
Walter Elliott. President,
Janet, Laidlaw, .opened the
meeting.
Mrs. Purdon demonstrat-
ed ways to finish off needle-
point work. Mrs. Elliott dem-
onstrated how to make
needlework into a pillow.
They discussed the 4-H
Achievenient Day skit and
appointed those to write the
points. Next week they will
judge their finished product.
