The six to eight year olds presented Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; the nine to eleven year olds'presented Mary Poppins; Oliver was staged by the 12 to 14 year olds and Woody Allen's' Don't Drink the Water was presented by the 15 to 18 year olds: Mary Lynn did not expect to be accepted for the position when she applied. Mentally Retarded, .YACMR, Mary Lynn cannot remember whenshe first became interested in working with' handicapped children. She remembers doing. a speech about. Helen Kellerwho;Was, blind and deaf, when she was still in grade school. ' While doing research about careers, she: found occupational therapy to. be the most interesting. She wouldlike to persue a career as an occupational therapist, but the program is very demanding and requires a high scholastic -standing, Mary Lynn hopes her grades will qualify her forthe program, but she will work with handicapped children regardless of what career she eventually enters.
