with each of four groups Of children to be
presented at the end of a -two week period.
The six to eight year olds presented
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; the nine
to eleven year olds'presented Mary Poppins;
Oliver was staged by the 12 to 14 year olds
and Woody Allen's' Don't Drink the Water
was presented by the 15 to 18 year olds:
Mary Lynn did not expect to be accepted
for the position when she applied. She has
music backgroundbut very little experience
in, drama. During her summer with the
children, however, she learned a great deal

Mary Lynn has worked as a volunteer With
the Silver Circle Nursery in Winghani and
has assisted. the Golden Circle School, when
they take the children skating and swim-
ming. She has: been active with handicapped
children through the youth .Across ,Canada
for the . Mentally Retarded, .YACMR,
Mary Lynn cannot remember whenshe
first became interested in working with'
handicapped children. She remembers doing.
a speech about. Helen Kellerwho;Was, blind
and deaf, when she was still in grade school.
' While doing research about careers, she:
found occupational therapy to. be the most
interesting. She wouldlike to persue a
career as an occupational therapist, but the
program is very demanding and requires a
high scholastic -standing, Mary Lynn hopes
her grades will qualify her forthe program,
but she will work with handicapped children
regardless of what career she eventually
enters.

A Lucknow youth received minor injuries
in a car accident about 11.50 p.m. Thursday
night.
' Greg Nicholson, 17, was proceeding south
on Huron County Road 1, when his car left
the road and rolled over, just south of
concession 12.
Charges are pending in the incident.

Ontario Liberal leader' Stuart Smith told a
Liberal fund raising : rally in Lucknow on.
October 30, he would cushion the blow of
high energy costs and interest rates for
farmers with specific, programs.
He suggested a program :whereby banks
would treat farm and small businessloans

A Ripley youth died in a farm .accident on
Friday .morning: when he became caught' in
the beaters of ` a forage wagon::
Charles Carson;Dadson, 1S, was unload-
ing a forage wagon. on:'the farm of :Douglas,
Stanley of concession 10, Culross Township,
when he lost his balance and his clothing•
became caught in the machinery.
Mr. Stanley discovered the accident when,
he arrived on the scene about 10.50 a.m. He
stopped the traitor and went to his residence
Where his wife, called for an ambulance, the
police. and. Mr: Dadson's father:
Charles Dadson was born in St. Thomas
on November 14, 1963:. fie formerly attend
ed Ripley District High 'School. He lived in
Ripley for the past five years and previously
in St. 'Thomas.
He is survived tiby his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. John Dadson, both of Ripley, a sister,
Tammy Lynn and two brothers, John Jr.,
and Lee, all at home. His grandmother, Mrs.
Jean Dadson of Ripley, also survives.

November 6, 1979 with burial following in
Elmdale Me'tnoriial Park, St. Thomas.

The Lucknow branches of the Bank

Frank Wall, a member of the OFA
executive told Huron Federation of
Agriculture he believes high interest
rates will seriously jeopardize farmers
way of production, what they produce
and how efficiently they produce it.
Several mtinicipal councils in Huron
