Blyth Centre; For The Arts
presents a :special children's
show. The Puppetmongers
Powell, a brother -sister team
of professional puppeteers
from Toronto will be in Blyth
on Saturday, November 10. at
2 p.m, to entertain ,children
of all ages with their original

Circus,
The Brick Brothers Circus
is a miniature one ring circus
with Bricks performing circ-
us acts of great skill and
daring. There is the acrobatic
Bildovitch Family from Bric-
oslovakia and the breath-
takingMadame Briaskova on
the High Trapeeze. See the

Powell, brother' and sister,
are originallyn from England
and are graduates with Hon-
ours .from. , Art College, They
have been perforthtng to-
gether as the Puppetmong-
ers Powell since 1973. They
have performed at national
and international festivals,,.in
Canada, USA, - G. B., and
Iran. They have won a
"Citation for Excellence in
the Art of Puppetry" from
Stocker sale
On Monday, October 29,
440 head of cattle were
consigned at the Lucknow
Community Stocker Sale.
Gross for the day was
$220,000.
MacDonald Bros., Ripley
sold 5 Cliarolais heifer calves
averaging 391 lbs. to Joe
Foran for $1.06.
Six Charolais steer calves
averaging 465 lbs. were, sold
by MacDonald Bros. to Perry
Elliott, Riley, at $1.14.
Doug Hackett sold 7 heif-
ers, averaging 630 lbs. –to
Mr. McMichael, Bluevale for

included the Puppeteer of
America Festival in Ohio, the
Puppet Festival in Charles-
Mezieres, France, and the
Nova Scotia Puppet Festival,

La LecheLeague,
La Leche League in Huron
County held the second of a
series of four meetings in
Belgrave, at the home of
Mrs. Joyce Casemore. The
topic of ' discussion was . "The
Art of Beastfeeding and
Overcoming Difficulties".
Mrs: Barbara Kerr opened
the meeting' with a welcome
to the mothers and their
babies.
Mrs. Sandra Billson ex-
plained how the lending
library worked.
Discussion began with
each woman completing the.
statement "Hospital is...".
• The work of La Leche
League was supported, as
mother to mother help in
overcoming any difficulties
encountered while learning
to nurse.
