Ben Miltenburg of the
Ontario Veterinary College in
Guelph was the recipient of
three awards at the Student -
Faculty Banquet on Thurs-
day, September 27, 1979. He
was awarded the Major
James Rattray First Profic-
iency Prize (third year) for
overall proficiency; the Kit-
chener -Waterloo .:Kennel
Club Award for second high,
est standing in small animal
medicine and surgery and
the Robert D. Newton Mem-
orial Scholarship for the
highest grade in the course,
Diseases of the Digestive
System. Ben, who is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. John Milt-
enburg, R. 7 Lucknow, is in
his final year of study at the
Ontario Veterinary College.

David Carter of Walker-
ton, formerly of Lucknow, is
a patient in University Hos-
pital, London, where he has
been for the last five weeks.
Kenneth Graham Reid, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ford Cun-
ningham of R. R. 5 Lucknow,
graduated from Conestoga
College ofAeplied. Arts and
Technology on Saturday,
September 29th, 1979. He
received a three year dip-
loma in Business Admirals
tratlon, Accounting Major
program. Attending. ,the
graduation at the Kitchener
Memorial Auditorium were
his parents, his brother, Ray,
Mr.; sad Mrs. George Moffat
and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Aust-
in,, Steven and Jason. Ken is
presently employed with Lis-
towel Chrysler" Dodge In.
Listowel.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mole
visited with Harvey's niece
and family, Mi. and Mrs.
Len Craig of Fenelon Falls
over the Thanksging week-
end.
Mrs. Neil J. MacKenzie
visited the past two weeks
with Mr. and Mrs. George
MacGregor of Lynden.
Those who spent Thanks-
giving day with Mr. and Mrs.

GILCHRIST
Fifty years ago on October
16, 1929, in Parley, Helen
Maud McClure Idaughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Smith McClure
of Paisley) became the bride
of George Frederick Gilchrist
(son of Mr, and Mrs. George
Gilchrist of Greenock- Town-
ship).
To thismarriage were born
two. sons, J, ck-of Vancouver.
and Bob of Kinloss .Town-
ship. A niece, Shirley Mc-
Clure (Mrs: Gordon Mac-
Donald) was raised by them
from the age of three.
Fred and Helen farmed in
Greenock Township until
they moved to Kinloss Town-
ship where they still reside
on the fourth concession.
A family dinner for rela-
tives and close friends .was
held in their honour at the
Turnberry Tavern, Wingham
on Saturday, October 13..
Relatives from Kingston,
Vancouver, Toronto and Pai-
sley were present for this
happy occasion.
• On Sunday, October 14,
Open House was held at their
home where many relatives
and friends called to extend
best wishes.

Elections Act 1977'and .I have posted up in
my office at R. R. 2, Lucknow, Ontario, on the
17th day of October 1979 the list of persons
eligible to vote on three [3] questions under
the provisions of The Liquor Licence Act
1975.
AND I hereby call upon all such electors to
examine the List and to take immediate
proceedings to have any errors or omissions
corrected according to law.

The last day for filing applications for
inclusions, additions, or corrections to or
deletions from the list is the 26th day of
October 1979.
The place at which the revisions of the list
will be taken is the Township of . West
Wawanosh Municipal Office in the Municipal
