During. the Open House, Frank MacKenzie read the
following poern, composed by Jack Needham.
To Mr. and Mrs„ William MacDonald on the .occasion of
their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
'Twas sixty years ago to -day
That 'Billy Angus' married May.
Their nuptial vows took place right here
A Kinloss 'high -lite' of the year.
For 'twas the first to be observed
And •from their vows they never swerved.
We're sure it seems that time has flown
Since first they went to their new home.
Yet„ looking back. there's no regret
For, . "What you give" is "What you get".
They gave their all to work .at hand
Be it milking cows or working land. .
The war was o'er and hoes aplenty
Ushered in the 'roaring twenty'.
As prices rose;' it seemed to be
That folks went on a spending spree.
Despite the ups, and downs of. living.
Bill and May just .kep on 'giving':
They kept their Faith through thick and thin
And., proved that thus, you're bound to win.
They left the' farm and went to toWn
But, did thechange soon get them. • down?
'Not much! .Their friends, are quick to say
They've found them active every day!
Be it travel, church, or exercise
They've ' proven keen, alertand wise.
Now, look ye back with honest pleasure
.You worked and lived: to fullest measure.
You earned respect arid love from all
Who gather: now in this church hall;
To.. wish you Health, Good. Friends, and Love •
Withendless blessings from 'Above.
Your friends of South Kinloss.

t • (signed) IN THE DARK.
A. Glad you asked.. The term `'Weight
Watchers -refers to a unique weight control
organization that conducts meetings all over
the world:. If you , join the Program you'll
pay a modest registration fee plus a'.stnall•:'
fee for each weekly meeting. (No contracts;
no payments in advance, no extras:) .The
program is comprehensive! It includes the
famous Eating Plan, to help you achieve your
ideal weight. And the Personal Action Plan,
which teaches you how to face challenges
that tempt you to overeat, how to be slim and
stars' slim. This year Weight Watchers. has
also introduced .the PEPSTEP I" Personal
Exercise Plan, which is optional. (Also easy
and fun:) The Weight Watchers Program is
scientifically planned. But the atmosphere of
the meetings is warm, informial and friendly.
Best of all, it gets results! That's why so
