Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Mc-
Donald of Lucknow celebrat-
ed their 40th wedding anni-
versary on Sunday, Septem-
ber 30th. In the afternoon
they were invited to Gladys
and John Fryfogle's home in
Wingham where they were
"presented with corsages and
lovely gifts.
At 5 p.m. they were guests
of their family at the Rantan.
Place at Palmerston for a
family dinner complete with
anniversary cake.
Present for the happy oc-
casion were {their family,
Joyce and Keith Cranston,
Gladys and John Fryfogle,
Allan and Christine McDon-
ald and their five grandsons
and Miss Colleen Adams of
Whitechurch.

The First Lucknow Brown-
ies held their second meeting
on Tuesday, September 25,
when three more new Brown-
ies joined. They started the
meeting with a game and
then went on a scavenger
hunt.
The meeting was closed
with the arch and the singing
ot Good Night Brownies.
