Andrew' Hamilton was a patient in Wingham Hospital, for a cotiple of days last week undergoing teats. The double ring, ceremony was performed , by Rev. Dougias Kaufman of Lucknow, amid candelabra, daisies and giant pink tinted mums. The bride is the daughter of Derk and Tinie Logtenberg, R. 1 Dun- gannon and the groom is the son of Jack and Janet Farrell of R. 3 Ripley. The bride, given in mar- riage by her parents, chose to make her gown of soft 'polyester satin in a Victorian style with :lace yoke, sheer sleeves gathered into lace- cdvered- cuffs and a lace border edging the gown. and train.» She also made her • finger-tip veil which was accented with appliqued ros- es and was held by a Juliet • cap. She carried:a bouquet of red • roses, white carnations and baby's breath and a small crocheted bag with heirloom clasp, a She was attended by her matron of honour, Reina Arnold of R. 4, Kincardine and her bridesmaids, Irene Logtenberg of Kitchener and Janice Farrell of London. • Their dresses featured flowered sheer jackets over dusty rose floor length halter style gowns. with blouson bodices. They carried bouqu- ets of pink varigated carna- tions, white daisies and baby's breath. The groom wore a. brown tuxedo with white shirt and ruffles trimmed with brown and a single red rose bouton- niere. The'organist, Shelly Rivett played Love Divine All Loves Excelling and Praise to the Lord Almighty as the proces- sional. The soloist, Debbie Culbert, sang Lord Make tTs Servants of Your Peace and The Wedding Sotig. A reception followed at the Lucknow District Community Centre where the bride's mother received wearing • a slate blue polyester satin cocictail length gown with V neckline, blouson waist and lace vest. Her corsage was of pink sweetheart roses, • • The groom's mother wore a berry coloured jersey cock- tail length dresd gathered at the neckline and waist. She • wore a corsage of white roses with pink tinted edges. The , bride changed' to a 'travelling costume of a two piece medium . blue dress with Peter Pan collar and • corsage of yellow silk roses:„,..,,, The groom wore a three piece beige suit with a single • yellow silk rose bounton- niere. The couple honeymooned on the east cost before returning to take up resid- ence on the groom's family farm at R. 3 Ripley, Special guests who attend- ed. the wedding were the bride's grandparents, Mrs. Fern de Boer and Mr. and Mrs. Gorda Logtenberg, and the groom's grandmother, " Mrs. Ada Farrell and great • aunt, Mrs. Sadie Slade.
