Mrs. George Graham en-
tertained relatives on Satur-
day afternoon, honouring her
great niece, Meghan Hewitt,
with a baby shower. Meghan
is the daughter of Rev. and
Mrs. Alex Hewitt of Fergus.
We extend sympathy to
the Collins family in the
passing of the late Russell
Collins. The funeral was held
on Friday afternoon.

On Sunday at the 12
o'clock service, Lucas Erio
Thacker, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Eric Thacker, was ,haptized
at the Anglican Church and
on Sunday evening members
from here, attended a special
service. at St. Thomas
Church, Walkerton, with a
fellowship hour following, to
hear and visit with the
Primate of All Canada, .Arch-
bishop Edward Scott. This
• evening was arranged by the
Deaneries of , North :and
South Saugeen. '
Mr. and Mrs. John Scott
visited for a few days with
Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Pang -
.burn at, Chatham, to attend
International Plowing Match.

mation. The candidates who
Were presented were Debbie
Arlene Hedley, Lindell Islay
Cross, and Ronald Oraen
Rock. Following the service,
a fellowship hour was held.
