Earlier Lucknow council had requested
that Comity Road, 1 in Lucknow, be included
in the county's reconstruction program. The
county replied in writing, stating they would
give the matter some consideration when
road reconstruction is reviewed in the fall.

The village council agreed to advertise
tenders for fuel oil and snow removal for the
winter of 1979-80. Last year the town paid
$3,400 for snow removal and $3,200 in
1977-78. During the severe winter of
1976-77 costs rose to $5,600 compared to
$3,600 and $2,000 for the two previous
years.
At the October 16 meeting council will set
the mill rate. Reeve Joynt indicated the
village was not bad off this year and the
• general mill rate increase should be relative-
ly low.
