Whitech-urch 141 club elects new executive

week vacation in the
Ottawa and Perth area
visiting friends and
relatives. After their
return home they jour-
neyed to Toronto with
their son and his girl
friend to celebrate Mrs.
Str'aker's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Rollings' 46th,
anniversary. On their
return to Whitechurch
Mrs. Rollings came with
them for a week's holiday.
Mrs. Straker and Mrs.
Rollings on Sunday at-
tended church service at
Chalmers Presbyterian
Church,
Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Empey of Auburn were
Sunday visitors with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Ron
Coultes.
On Saturday, Mrs.
Mayme Caslick of
Brookhaven Nursing
Home visited, with her
daughter Mrs. Ron

The WtL bake sale and
tea which was to have
been held Saturday Sept.
15 has been postponed
until Saturday, Sept. 22 so
as not to collide with
Lucknow Fair. .
Whitechurch 4-H Club
held their first meeting of
the Needlepoint Project
on Saturday Sept. 9 at the
home of Mrs. Archie
Purdon. The meeting
opened with the 4-11
Pledge.
The election of officers
were: President Janet
Laidlair; Vice Pres. -
Kendra Purdon; Press
Reporter - Clara
Milligan. All take a turn
at being secretary. The
• next meeting will be Sept.
22 at the home of Mrs..
